A County Durham golf club has secured a £400,000 facility to invest in the club, provide new services to its community and strengthen its financial position. 

Kasai UK has received a £100,000 grant from the Business Growth Fund which will support the interior trim supplier’s transition from the use of carbon-heavy adhesives to a solvent-free, water-based alternative, reducing its carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 100 to 120 tonnes per year. 

Great Ideas, a new programme as part of the Mayor’s Business Innovation Fund, will support businesses of all sizes to develop their new ideas for a product or service. It will also support businesses to take a developed idea to the next stage.

A law firm which has served the North East for almost 80 years is embarking on an exciting new chapter after officially opening its new head office. Richard Reed Solicitors has moved its team of over 40 to its new home at The Beam, a Grade A office building at the heart of Riverside Sunderland.
