WHAT WAS THE SERViCE?
Digital Knowledge Exchange (DKE) is a strand of the Digital Enterprise programme delivered by the Leeds City Region LEP. The aspiration of DKE is to support small firms to achieve digital maturity as they scale up and grow. The service offers entrepreneurs and managers access to knowledge, expertise and advice on deploying digital solutions to help them develop their business via workshops, digital audits and mentoring.
WHAT DiD UMi DO?
UMi delivered a wide range of workshops, conferences and webinars to help provide DKE participants with the skills and knowledge they need to help grow their business. This was delivered alongside the support of a Digital Advisor and a pool of Digital Champions who were able to offer businesses Digital Audits and one-to-one support.
WHAT WAS THE RESULT?
The project was a huge success and resulted in a second project being launched in February 2020 (DKE 2.0). In total, over 600 businesses across the Leeds City Region engaged with the programme, with over 514 Digital Audits completed alongside 83 live events.
