BLM appoints Stuart Evans as head of commercial litigation London

Insurance risk and commercial law firm BLM has appointed Stuart Evans as head of commercial litigation for London.

Previously a commercial litigation partner at DMH Stallard, Stuart has substantial experience in representing clients in major disputes in a wide number of sectors.

These include contractual claims, intellectual property disputes, boardroom disputes, shareholder claims, partnership disputes, professional indemnity, insolvency, commercial fraud and international asset tracing, jurisdictional disputes and trade defamation disputes.

Kingswood continues to expand product offerings with the appointment of new head of alternatives and distribution

Mush announces mobile app veteran as new board chairman

Mush, the local social networking app for new mothers, is proudly announcing the appointment of Nir Efrat as chairman of the board of Directors. Nir joins a board comprised of founders Katie Massie-Taylor and Sarah Hesz, as well as Zoe Chambers of Octopus Ventures and Orson Stadler of Mustard Seed.

Mush, which has raised over £3m since its launch in April 2016, is focussing on growing its highly engaged community of mums, an area in which Nir lends considerable experience and expertise.

Centtrip appoints Pierre Suhrcke as non-executive director

Centtrip has appointed Pierre Suhrcke as a non-executive director. Pierre will join the Board of Centtrip Holdings Ltd.

Pierre is an active angel investor, mentor and adviser. He is also a Professor for venture capital and entrepreneurship at Kozminski University in Warsaw, Poland.

Allica appoints Gareth Claxton as senior commercial manager

Allica, the company building an SME bank with relationship managers, has announced the appointment of Gareth Claxton as senior commercial manager.

He will be responsible for supporting owner occupier businesses and commercial investment property professionals.

Gareth joins from Redwood Bank, where he supported businesses as well as commercial and residential investors with their long-term property lending requirements. Prior to that Gareth held senior positions with Aldermore and Santander, managing the new business and portfolio management teams.

Murray Harcourt expands tax team with a new executive recruit

Accountancy practice Murray Harcourt has announced the recruitment of a new executive to their growing tax team.

Daniel Orange has joined the team after four years as a corporate tax associate at Grant Thornton.

Harold Pradal joins BSI Executive as group commercial director

BSI, the business standards company, today announced the appointment of Harold Pradal as group commercial director on the Group Executive with immediate effect.

Mark Johnson joins The RSA Group as partner

The RSA Group has announced that Mark Johnson has joined the company as a partner. Mark is a respected life sciences search professional with particular expertise in the cell and gene therapy sector. 

Mark has significant experience across medical, manufacturing and supply chain, commercial, R&D, CMC, Clinical Operations, Regulatory and Programme/Project Leader recruitment.

This stems from an early career in biologics development, manufacturing and quality at MedImmune and Novartis. Most recently he has focused on cell and gene therapy and joins The RSA Group as an expert in this field.

RTC Leadership & Coaching appoints Gill Hayward as managing director

Edinburgh and London-based company RTC Leadership & Coaching has appointed Gill Hayward as managing director as part of its ongoing expansion.

Hayward, who is originally from Edinburgh, will operate from RTC’s London office. She will be responsible for nurturing existing projects and driving new business as RTC expands its high level, transformative leadership training services in the UK and globally.

Collinson appoints new global medical director

Collinson, the expert in global medical and security assistance, has appointed Dr Simon Worrell to the position of global medical director to lead its medical services department.

Dr Worrell has over 20 years of experience in the delivery of international medical assistance and emergency care, and also brings significant specialist expertise in immunology and communicable diseases. He joins Collinson from Healix.
