New events are added all the time, so there is sure to be something for everyone.

As part of the programme, these are some of the funded events coming up for businesses in County Durham.

30 September - Ultimate Guide to Blogging

This special masterclass will show you in detail the blogging techniques taught by Pascal Fintoni that are guaranteed to make you think differently about content creation.

Expect lots of surprises, new ideas and inventive solutions as we explore new ways to get you fired up as a copywriter, vlogger or podcaster!

13 October - Growing Your Audience on Social Media 

This workshop will equip any growing business with the necessary toolkit to thrive and get results from a powerful social media presence.

14 October - Master Canva and become the designer of your own online prescence!

In this workshop Melanie Cant from Elm Marketing Solutions will take you through the basics of Canva’s free version as well as answer questions you may have so that you get the most out your time at the workshop.

Melanie will be demonstrating:

  • How to choose the correct size templates for your project
  • Walk you through how to modify them with your brand colour, fonts and photography
  • Create brand continuity that is consistent in all areas of visual marketing
  • Magically resize your design for different social platforms
  • Video editing and type overlaying

Digital Drive County Durham is a programme being delivered on behalf of Business Durham, the economic development arm for Durham County Council, to help eligible small businesses make the most of digital technology. The project can help businesses access grant funding support of up to 40% towards the cost of:

  • digital consultancy projects
  • equipment that will help to improve your business through the use of digital technology
  • website, app or software build
  • broadband infrastructure and installation

In addition, the programme offers webinars and events in a range of digital topics with the support of advisors to make the most of digital opportunities available to business.

Digital Drive County Durham is funded by the European Regional Development Fund, Business Durham, which works on behalf of Durham County Council and private investment and forms part of the wider Digital Durham initiative to transform broadband speeds for residents and businesses across the North East.
