Go Further Forum News

To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the founding of the world's first mechanics' institute and the UK’s foundational role in the first industrial revolution, UMi, CPI and GCV will host a one-day forum on 9 November focused on how technology and innovation capital springing from the North of England and Scotland can transform society again.

The virtual event will gather the regional innovation ecosystem to celebrate the launch of the Go Further Investment Index. The campaign recognises the top progressive businesses who are pushing through and achieving their aspirations through access to investment, impactful collaborations, and the foresight to inform and respond to the changing world around them.

Together with leading investors, the forum will convene and connect an online audience of angels, entrepreneurs, policymakers and corporate innovation teams to share insights, connect and network.

The Go Further Forum will be a valuable opportunity for companies that are preparing for – or considering future investment – to meet with leading investors, angels and corporate innovation teams.
