From 12-16 October, virtual events will be held for entrepreneurs, businesses, support agencies and practitioners to celebrate and showcase the innovation ecosystem of the Tees Valley.

The week-long event will cover the Tees Valley Combined Authority’s economic priorities and the growth opportunities for businesses developing new ideas.

Attendees will get to hear from and meet with national and local support agencies who can help form collaborative partnerships, undertake Research and Development, access funding and finance, and develop skills and talent for your business.

There will also be the opportunity to find out about funding opportunities and gain practical skills through a Grant Application Masterclass.

There will be three virtual sessions each day, as well as fantastic networking opportunities.

Chris Beck, director of business and skills in Tees Valley Combined Authorities, said: 'Tees Valley is built on innovation. This event will bring together Tees Valley companies and innovation networks to help drive growth.

'Innovation is an essential cornerstone for economic development. This event will focus on three key areas for the Tees Valley; clean growth and net-zero, bioeconomy and digital. All three will be major drives for jobs in the future.'

The Innovate Local Program is a suite of regional engagement events that promote Innovate UK & UKRI objectives. We work with local stakeholders to create an event that addresses regional innovation priorities and workshops to help businesses learn more about the grants and innovation process.

You can find the full agenda and event registration on the Innovate UK website, don't miss out.
