Different from many other business accelerators, the Durham Ambitious Business Start-Ups (DABS) programme offers two unique support packages. One for those who have a great idea and have not yet started their business, and another for those new entrepreneurs at the start of their exciting journey. You’ll benefit from tailored support to maximise the success of your business.

As part of the programme the team has a number of free online workshops coming up. They include:

21 October - DABS Festival of Enterprise

The DABS Festival of Enterprise is back for 2021 – and this time we are live!

Whether you are thinking of starting your own business, or are already in business, this event will be              packed full of helpful advice from our expert line-up of seasoned entrepreneurs, business leaders,                  industry experts and thought-leaders.

26 and 27 October - Innovative Pricing for Growth and Scale

Join us for two half day sessions where we will help you to execute strategic pricing so your business excels in an increasingly dynamic and digitised business environment. We will give you the tools and techniques you need to develop deep relationships with customers, suppliers and contractors.

This workshop takes place over a half-day session on 26th October and another half-day session on 27th October.

1 November - Data Protection & GDPR

The last thing you want to do during start up is fall foul of the law. Data Protection and GDPR can seem a daunting place but with our help we can keep you on the right track to avoid headaches and hot water. This session is aimed at improving your knowledge and understanding, we will share best practice and answer any questions on what you can and cannot do, always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to your new business. Do not get caught out!
