Online Christmas party package launched to replace in-person work dos
Colleagues separated by Covid-19 can celebrate the festive period together through a new range of bespoke online Christmas parties.
Global health charity Child.org has launched a “Big Fat Christmas” package that provides a professional host, a quiz for the office “Noel-it-alls”, creative challenges, team games and Christmas cocktail recipes – all of which is coordinated and hosted virtually.
It provides all the little extras to recreate the office party experience online, including festive Zoom backgrounds and Spotify Christmas playlists.
The package starts at £20 per person, with all of the elements customisable depending on the organisation and able to incorporate special activities such as team awards or Secret Santa gift exchanges.
Child.org has previously run bespoke events for organisations including Airbnb, LinkedIn, investment banking group Macquarie and global market research company Mintel. During the lockdown, the charity’s online Quarantine Quizzes entertained thousands across the globe and were featured in The Times.
Proceeds from Big Fat Christmas all go to fund Child.org’s child health programmes in Kenya and Sierra Leone, including its Team Mum project, which runs pregnancy support groups and provides “baby boxes” containing essentials to keep newborns safe and healthy.
Amanjit Dhillon, projects and partnerships manager at Child.org, said:
“Life and work have been tough this year, and there’s no doubt we’re all in need of some serious festive cheer. Our Big Fat Christmas package provides everything people need to have a night-in to remember with their colleagues and start 2021 off right.”
