Back-to-back client wins for Grayling Birmingham
Grayling Birmingham has been appointed to deliver PR campaigns for the 2020 YONEX All England Badminton Championships and Guide Dogs in the new year following competitive pitches.
The Championships will take place in Arena Birmingham in March 2020 with an anticipated crowd of 35,000 fans over five days. Grayling Birmingham has designed a series of creative activations to help drive ticket sales and create excitement across the region and beyond.
The Midlands’ team will also work closely with Grayling UK’s award-winning Health team, on the upcoming Guide Dogs’ campaign.
Both organisations join Grayling Birmingham’s rapidly growing roster of clients, which include M&S, Coventry University Group, National Grid, John West, ITG and HSBC.
Bethany Pearson, Head of Grayling Birmingham, commented on the wins: “We are celebrating a double whammy of wins, adding two very exciting new clients to our portfolio who share our vision for highly creative and strategic PR campaigns.
As passionate Midlanders, we have the on-the-ground insight to deliver impactful campaigns, alongside the expertise and capabilities to upscale our campaigns to national media and audiences.”
Rob Short, Senior Marketing Manager, YONEX All England Badminton Championships, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Grayling Birmingham ahead of the return of the YONEX All England Badminton Championships in March 2020.
The focus and creativity the team showed during the pitching process was exemplary, and the time and effort they spent understanding our goals was second to none. I loved the Birmingham-centric elements of their ideas, but that these also had national cut-through. I am excited to be working with them on the oldest and most prestigious badminton tournament in the world.”
