Apprentice winner launches Vegan Bakehouse
Lord Sugar’s latest business partner Carina Lepore, of Dough Bakehouse, has launched a new vegan range. Just four months after winning the Apprentice, Carina has expanded her repertoire of baked goods, with Lord Sugar officially launching the new bakery items at Dough Bakehouse in Herne Hill, South East London.
The new range includes the vegan sourdough loaf that fans of The Apprentice will have seen baked in the final episode, a variety of vegan rolls and sweet treats, including a banana cake, chocolate brownie and energy balls.
Dough Bakehouse is a family run bakery established by Carina in 2018. The Apprentice winner Carina still manages the day to day running of the bakery, and Carina’s father Carlo freshly bakes all the products onsite every morning. With plans to open up several new sites this year, Dough Bakehouse is expanding quickly due to customer demand.
Lord Sugar commented: "Carina and I are delighted that Dough Bakehouse continues to go from strength to strength. We're really looking forward to opening new premises in the near future, continuing to expand the business, especially with the constant evolution of new products, such as the great tasting new vegan range, which I'll personally be sending to Piers Morgan to try."
Carina Lepore, founder of Dough Bakehouse commented: “After winning The Apprentice, it means so much to have Lord Sugar’s backing in a family run business with big ambitions. We pride ourselves on being across on the latest food trends, so we are really excited to bring our new vegan range to our customers."
