WHAT WAS THE SERViCE? 

UMi Debt Finance Scotland provides loan capital to small and medium sized businesses across Scotland. The £12m fund helps accelerate the growth of businesses in Scotland, complementing other private and public sector forms of funding. The Fund typically advances loans of £25,001 and £250,000 to support actively trading Scottish businesses. 

WHAT DiD UMi DO? 

The fund is managed by UMi Scotland who provide a full fund management service, handling everything including lead generation, marketing, applications, due diligence, account management, defrayment and re-payment processes. 

WHAT WAS THE RESULT? 

Over £9m of loans defrayed to over 90 Scottish based SMEs to support their ambitious growth plans with over 70% of recipients operating in high growth technology sectors.
