UMi Sat Nav named winner at National Enterprise Network Awards
UMi has been recognised for its efforts to help the nation’s businesses navigate the complex world of finance and support, being named the winner of the Innovation & Digital Transformation in Enterprise award at the National Enterprise Network Awards 2026.
The award recognises its 'groundbreaking platform’, UMi Sat Nav for Business, and 'its transformative impact on enterprise support across the UK.’
The ceremony was held as part of the National Enterprise Network Conference 2026, a day focused on the need to simplify and help businesses navigate support options available to them. The awards segment of the conference celebrated organisations delivering exceptional support to entrepreneurs and small businesses nationwide.
A fully employee-owned B Corp, UMi has provided advice to more than 700,000 businesses across the UK since its launch in 2007, helping many of those secure the vital funding and finance required to innovate and grow.
UMi Sat Nav, which brings together over 7,000 national support opportunities and thousands of practical resources into one intelligent platform, has been central to this success.
Rather than simply digitising traditional services, the platform uses data and behavioural insights to deliver personalised advice, funding and tools - often before businesses even realise they are needed. By blending public and private sector support, it also aims to remove barriers that have traditionally made it difficult for businesses to navigate the ecosystem.
Since its launch in 2021, the platform has attracted over one million users, with more than 40,000 registered businesses benefiting from tailored insights, practical tools, and direct adviser support at every stage of their journey.
A major milestone for UMi Sat Nav has been its adoption by the British Business Bank as part of its Start Up Loans mentoring programme, which has accelerated the platform’s national reach and impact.
Attending the awards ceremony in London was UMi’s Chief Technology and Investment Officer, Simon Goon and Chief Funding Solutions Officer, Julie Cuthbertson.
