UMi, in partnership with Social Enterprise Mark, Inspiring Women Changemakers and the School for Social Entrepreneurs, celebrated the announcement of this year’s Social Entrepreneur Index with an online celebration event on Friday 31 July.
Royal Docks Meet the Buyer
Taking place at the Newham Dockside, the Royal Docks Meet the Buyer event, fully funded by partners London City Airport and Newham London, provides local businesses with the chance to meet major buyers, including those involved in the airport’s transformative £480m development programme.
The event welcomed back a record number of local businesses and SMEs for the second year.
Scottish Export Awards
The Scottish Export Awards and International Trade Campaign sponsored by HSBC brings together businesses from across Scotland to recognise and celebrate their entrepreneurial exporting achievements.
88 Scottish exporters entered and 41 were shortlisted for the awards in 2018.
Farnborough Meet the Buyer
UMi delivered the 2018 Farnborough International Meet the Buyer event which took place on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th July at the new FIVE building in the Pioneer suite located in Hall 1. The event was the most successful to date with 200 delegates in attendance.
