Wheels to Work Initiative Drives Change with help from UMi

UMi Community Foundation has awarded a £5,000 grant to Wheels to Work, a countrywide project, which has significantly impacted individuals living in poverty. The grant helped provide them with access to employment opportunities previously out of reach due to transportation barriers.

UMi wins contract to Ignite UK space industry at SME-focused conference

UMi is thrilled to have secured a contract to deliver Ignite Space on with the UK Space Agency. Ignite Space, a dynamic SME-focused event, serves as a vital platform to showcase emerging businesses in the UK space sector as well as the extensive support available.

UMi helps provide £2.2m in grants to SMEs with The Growth Fund

UMi was the Delivery Partner for The Growth Fund that provided grant support to SMEs across the South of Tyne region in the North East of England. Part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the scheme aimed to stimulate sustainable business growth and create jobs. 

UMi helps Move the Masses

Move the Masses, a charitable organisation based in Leeds, has received a £2,000 grant from UMi Community Foundation to go towards their transformative Move Mates project.

First ever ‘Meet the Buyers’ event at EMA hailed a success

The inaugural ‘Meet the Buyers’ event hosted by East Midlands Airport (EMA) saw more than 100 firms networking and having initial meetings which are set to generate millions of pounds worth of business.
