UK-based employees of Virgin companies are set to help the charities they volunteer with go further, by nominating them for Virgin Unite’s Local Legends fund, delivered by UMi.

Following significant investment to bring our new 10,000 sq. ft. premises up to the highest environmental and sustainability standards, UMi have now moved into our new office space at Navigators Point.

Manchester Airport hosted its inaugural ‘Meet the Buyers’ event in March, with more than 200 attendees from over 100 local businesses taking the opportunity to connect directly with key prospective clients in the Greater Manchester area. 

To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2024 (5 to 11 February), we are sharing the stories of some of the team who started their journeys as apprentices. Shereen started at UMi in different department in 2021 and after realising she has a passion for events joined the team as a events apprentice, she has completed her apprenticeship journey with UMi recently and received her qualification of completion at the end of 2022.

Megan started her career in the Travel Industry and after growing a passion for social media marketing and website design, she has began her digital marketing apprenticeship journey with UMi in January 2023.
