Smart Works Newcastle aims to help women secure employment through interview clothing and coaching. With help from UMi, clothing donations are now more accessible for County Durham supporters, being able to bring their womenswear into Navigators Point at Belmont Business Park in Durham.

148 businesses have benefitted from the joint efforts of UMi and West Yorkshire Combined Authority as part of the Energy Efficiency Grant Scheme, set up in response to the increasing rise of energy costs. 

UMi’s recent move to Navigators Point, a new office space at Belmont Business Park in Durham, provided an opportunity to contribute to the project.

UK-based employees of Virgin companies are set to help the charities they volunteer with go further, by nominating them for Virgin Unite’s Local Legends fund, delivered by UMi.

Following significant investment to bring our new 10,000 sq. ft. premises up to the highest environmental and sustainability standards, UMi have now moved into our new office space at Navigators Point.

Twenty Scottish businesses were recognised for their exporting excellence and named in the Scottish Export Index, published on 19 July, 2023.

Manchester Airport hosted its inaugural ‘Meet the Buyers’ event in March, with more than 200 attendees from over 100 local businesses taking the opportunity to connect directly with key prospective clients in the Greater Manchester area.
